Polish Divorce May. 17th, 2005 @ 01:34 pm
A Polish man moved to the USA and married an American girl. Although

his English was far from perfect, they got along very well until one

day he rushed into a lawyer's office and asked him if he could arrange

a divorce for him - "very quick."

The lawyer said that the speed for getting a divorce would depend

on the circumstances, and asked him the following questions:

LAWYER: "Have you any grounds?"

POLE: "JA, JA, acre and half and nice little home."

LAWYER: "Does either of you have a real grudge?"

POLE: "No, we have carport, and not need one."

LAWYER: "I mean, What are your relations like?"

POLE: "All my relations still in Poland."

LAWYER: "Is there any infidelity in your marriage?"

POLE: "Ja, we have hi- fidelity stereo set and good DVD player."

LAWYER: "Does your wife beat you up?"

POLE: "No, I always up before her."

LAWYER: "Is your wife a nagger?"

POLE: "No, she white."

LAWYER: "WHY do you want this divorce?"

POLE: "She going to kill me."

LAWYER: "What makes you think that?"

POLE: "I got proof."

LAWYER: "What kind of proof?"

POLE: "She going to poison me. She buy a bottle at drugstore and
put on shelf in bathroom. I can read, and it say, 'Polish Remover'."

Help Everyone do their best! May. 16th, 2005 @ 09:08 am
At the Seattle Special Olympics, nine contestants, all physically or mentally disabled, assembled at the starting line for the 100-yard dash. At the gun, they all started out, not exactly in a dash, but with a relish to run the race to the finish and win. All, that is, except one little boy who stumbled on the asphalt, tumbled over a couple of times, and began to cry. The other eight heard the boy cry. They slowed down and looked back. Then they all turned around and went back......every one of them. One girl with Down's Syndrome bent down and kissed him and said, "This will make it better." Then all nine linked arms and walked together to the finish line. Everyone in the stadium stood, the cheering went on for several minutes. People who were there are still telling the story... Why? Because deep down we know this one thing: What matters in this life is more than winning for ourselves. What matters in this life is helping others win, even if it means slowing down and changing our course. If you pass this on, we may be able to change our hearts as well as someone else's. How True! May. 4th, 2005 @ 11:09 am

Your Birthdate: June 17

Your birth on the 17th day of the month suggests that you are very lucky financially, because this date indicates a solid business sense.

Although you are probably very honest and ethical, this birthday enables you to be shrewd and successful in the world of business and commercial enterprise.

You have excellent organizational, managerial, and administrative capabilities enabling you to handle large projects and significant amounts of money with relative ease.

You are ambitious and highly goal-oriented, although you may be better at starting projects than you are at finishing them.

A sensitivity in your nature, often repressed below the surface of awareness, makes it hard to give or receive affection.

» Well that is why I like the American way
During WWII, an American Army Captain stationed in England, met and
fell in love with a British Lieutenant in the WRENS.

After a whirlwind courtship, they became engaged and his fiancée
wanted him to spend the weekend at her parents' home in the country so they
could meet him.

When they arrived at a huge estate, a Rolls Royce was parked in front
of a circular driveway with a staff of a dozen maids, butler, gardeners,
etc standing at attention awaiting their arrival.

It was obvious to the Yank that his fiancée was no ordinary Brit,
but of the nobility.

Her parents were absolutely taken by her choice of a husband and a
delightful weekend was enjoyed by all.

When the Yank returned to his headquarters outside London, he went to
the British liaison officer's office, explained what had happened, and
asked what the proper protocol would be for him at the wedding.

"At the wedding, pretty much the same as your American weddings, I
would say but a bit more elaborate. The big difference would be after the
wedding.

You will both have connecting rooms in the Claridge. You will both go
to your separate rooms, where you will bathe, apply cologne, put on your
pajamas and robe and go to the door connecting your two rooms.

You will rap on the door . . . She will answer, 'yes,' And you will
say, 'I offer you my honor.'

She will respond, 'I honor your offer'. That is your permission to
enter her room.

After that, it's honor and offer all night."

» Why do I live at home again?
So I came home on Sunday night after having a great weekend to: "So nice of you to show up. I feel like I should just close your room cause you are never here anymore. Where were you all weekend?" So I answered that I was at Choate, slept over with a friend, went to have some fun, went to rehearsal and then back to hang out with Dan. "Well you should think more about being home because I am on the virge of throwing you out and never letting you come back!"

Geez, what a trip that is to come home to. Why do I even come back if that is what I get when I am gone for a while. It is not like I go far or do bad things? I don't get it, I just hope I don't get tossed tonight. Hey, my door is locked and I am not talking to anybody out there so that is a start.

I guess I just need that one person who really cares to talk to instead this computer thing. I mean there are a lot of people that I can talk to, but right now I want that one special person. :)

Under the silver stars,
Right where he broke your heart.
Girl you know, I'd give you everything.
I wanna hold your hand,
And say the words he never said.
I'll make you promises you can believe.

Let me be the one,
Holding you every night.
Sharing the smiles and tears you cry.
Let me be the one,
Loving you when you're weak.
For all of the strength you need,
You can come to me.

You can just be yourself,
'Cause I don't want nobody else.
All of your secrets are safe with me.
For the kind of love you can trust,
For more than just a crush,
Baby, won't you just come to me?
» Kindness and Care
I want to thank all the people who care about other people. I am not sure those people recieve gratitude for what they do for another person. Think about something someone has done for you to make your life easier, to make you happier, or just to be there for you during a hard time. Now think about how that person feels when all they recieve is "...". What did they receieve. An eye for an eye can go both ways. It can mean someone hits you and you hit them back or it can mean someone does something for you and you do something in return. It does not have to be of equal or greater value persay, but that act of kindness is unbelieveable.

I want to thank everyone who has done something for me, and continue to help others and be the best that they can be at whatever they do!

» People with no respect
This entry is to all the males in this world who think they are king of the hill and can go around fucking as many girls as they want. They may or may not end up landing one girl, but they sure as hell may end up getting one of them pregnant. If you are a male and managed to get a girl pregnant and you are still not together with that girl I HATE YOU!!!! You are the most disgusting people that I know. I think that any man who is thinking about having a baby remotely 1 year into a relationship is stupid, and they should not have any girlfriends at all.

Now that I am done venting...leave your feelings.

Softly says...

Why don't you kiss her
Why don't you tell her
Why don't you let her see the feelings that you hide
She'll never know
If you never show
The way you feel inside

Oh, I'm so afraid
To make the first move
Just a touch and we could

And everytime shes near
I wanna never let her go
Confess to her what my heart

It hurts me to wait

Why Don't You tell her (tell her you need her)
Why don't you let her see
The Feelings that you hide
Cause she'll never know

A wealthy man was having an affair with an Italian woman for several
years. One night, during one of their rendezvous, she confided in him that
she was pregnant.

Not wanting to ruin his reputation or his marriage, he paid her a large
sum of money if she would go to Italy to raise the child. He would also
provide child support until the child turned 18. She agreed, but asked how
he would know when the baby was born. To keep it discrete, he told her to
simply mail him a postcard and write "Spaghetti" on the back.

He would then arrange for child support payments to begin.

One day, about 9 months later, he came home to his confused wife. "Honey,"
she said, "you received a very strange post card today." "Oh, just give it
to me and I'll explain it later," he said. The wife obeyed, and watched as
her husband read the card, turned white, and fainted.

On the card was written: "Spaghetti, Spaghetti, Spaghetti. Two with

Hugs come in every shape and size, and mean so many things. Like the hug that says "I'm Happy for the joy your kindness brings." There are gentle hugs and tender ones, for feelings that are sad- Hugs that say "I'm sorry" when someones feeling bad. But the nicest hug is one that says "I'm always thinking of you" the special kind this brings your way, the hug that says "I miss you."
